Bangkok’s Emerald Hotel will temporarily cease operations from May 1 until the Covid-19 situation improves, hotel management said Tuesday (April 28).
The 619-room hotel is located on Ratchadaphisek Road in Bangkok’s Din Daeng district.
The management said the decision to temporarily shutdown was in compliance with the government’s measure to reduce public assembly so as to minimise the risk of the virus spreading.
Earlier this month, the hotel complied with the government’s social distancing measure by closing its health club, pool, restaurants and coffee shops.
